Terms and Conditions for Headshot Bookings
Thank you for choosing Owen Else Headshots & Portraits. Before proceeding with your booking, please carefully review the following terms and conditions, which govern the services provided by our company. By booking a session with us, in any context or part of any deal/ initiative, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Payment: 1.1. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days after you receive your final images. 1.2. We accept payments via bank transfer, and bank information can be found in your confirmation email You will also receive a invoice as a formal breakdown of the fees. 1.3. In the event of rescheduling or cancellation, please refer to section 3 (Rescheduling and Cancellation) for further details.
2. Photoshoot Sessions: 2.1. The duration of each session is dependent on the context of booking. 2.2. The client is responsible for arriving promptly at the beginning of their scheduled session or slot. Delay caused by the client may result in a shortened session without a discount. 2.3. Depending on the nature of the shoot, you will either choose images for editing on the day, or be sent an image selection which you can use to select images for retouching. The amount of retouched images will be stipulated at the point of booking, and in your invoice. In some cases, you will also receive access to raw and un-edited files. 2.4. Additional images, prints, or products can be purchased separately. Prices will be provided upon request.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellation: 3.1. In some instances, the client may request to reschedule the session at least 5 days before the original session date, subject to the photographer's availability. This is likely impossible for selected deals. 3.2. If the client needs to cancel the session, the deposit will be forfeited. If the cancellation occurs within 2 days of the session date, the full session fee may be charged. 3.3. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the session, a full refund of the deposit will be provided to the client.
4. Image Usage and Copyright: 4.1. Owen Else Headshots & Portraits retains the copyright to all images taken during the session. 4.2. The client is granted personal usage rights to the images, allowing for personal printing, sharing (including on social media), and personal online profiles. 4.3. The client will provide, at the point of booking, information pertaining to image usage. If any of your wishes with regards to this change, it is your responsibility to let us know.
