BIOGRAPHY
I am a Theatre Maker, Composer, Writer and Artist originally from Nottinghamshire, now living in London, studying Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in North London.
With a background in scenography and design, my practice is closely linked to immersive theatre, photography and film, where I aim to sew visceral technical elements into the fabric of my work to use more than just words to convey ideas. I explore ideas surrounding society, marginalised communities, working-class life, and phycology through performance and art.
I also have a background in music and a passion for making musical theatre. I have a commitment to the arts, particularly it's accessibility to communities and young people from less affluent backgrounds.
Aside from my studies, I have worked in creativity & arts education/ youth work, teaching Film & TV and Comedy & Drama at the Pauline Quirk Academy in Nottingham and London. In addition to this, I have worked as a Youth Worker in Nottinghamshire, where I delivered arts and media sessions to young people in schools and community settings, as well as pastoral social education to young people from less affluent backgrounds.
